This letter is based on the helical pile installation log dated October 8, 2018, provided to L120 by Ram Jack West for Ram Jack Job #018-374. With the grade -beams at a maximum span of 8'-0" on center at the exterior, the maximum required vertical capacity that L120 determined was 18 kips (ultimate) for helical piles. These demand requirements are as determined and specified in L120's structural calculation package issued on August 22, 2018. Pile capacities for helical piles as provided by Ram Jack are attached to this letter. Per the attached documents, a 2-7/8"0 helical pile installed between 3ft and 5ft deep with a 2.5K drive head at a minimum pressure of 2,500psi results in an ultimate capacity of 20.8kips. The results are summarized below: Helical: Maximum Demand (ultimate) =18.Ok Available Capacity (ultimate) = 20.8k By inspection, the pile capacity of the installed helical piles exceeds the maximum loading demand as determined by L120's analysis.
