Type III landscaping is intended to provide partial visual separation of uses from streets and main arterials and between compatible uses so as to soften the appearance of parking areas and building elevations. (b) Description. Type III landscaping shall be a mixture of evergreen and deciduous trees interspersed with large shrubs and groundcover. The applicant shall comply with all development regulations in effect at the time of the application applicable to the geographic portion of the site on which the expansion is proposed. 5. Confirm with the height of the site obscuring fence, not to exceed 7 feet. If the proposed enclosure exceeds 7 feet a building permit is required. Please respond in writing to the comments and resubmit two (2) copies of requested sheets, new elevations and site plan containing landscaping to the Permit Center with a covering resubmittal sheet (enclosed). Be advised that these comments are from the Planning Division only. The building department will review make a determination on application upon confirming the final location of the equipment fencing.
