SUBJECT: Intracorp 1st Avenue S Townhomes – Public School Access
This memorandum summarizes public school access for the proposed Intracorp 1st Avenue S Townhome
residential development at 32818 1st Avenue S in Federal Way, WA. The subject property is served by
the Federal Way School District No 210. Within 1-mile walking distance of the site, there are no public
schools within a 1-mile walk radius. As such, all public school access trips are via school bus, which picks
up students along the siteÊs frontage at a designated bus stop at an existing location noted at 251 328th
Street SE. This school bus stop area is planned to be incorporated into the site development frontage
improvements along S 328th Street with a concrete boarding/alighting pad within the landscaped frontage
in coordination with the Federal Way Public School District. This location and reconstructed frontage area
for the school bus stop location is conceptually shown in Attachment A.
