There are three existing access points that will be used. The proposal includes the demolition of all existing buildings. While the new operations building is being constructed the existing building in the southwest corner of the site will remain in use. Once the new maintenance facility is built the existing one will be demolished. This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public by request and at: https://www.federalwaywa.gov/page/land-use-notices. This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2); the lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date below. Comments must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on May 3, 2024. Comments can be submitted to the Department of Community Development (33325 8th Ave South, Federal Way, WA 98003 or planning@cityoffederalway.com). Unless modified by the city, this determination will become final following the above comment deadline. Any person aggrieved of the city’s final determination may file an appeal. Anyone may appeal this determination to the Federal Way City Clerk (address below), no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 24, 2024, by a written letter stating the reason for the appeal of the determination, along with the required appeal fee.
