Becky, Good afternoon. I am the homeowner at 29819 20th Ave S. Federal Way. I am wondering if I can be included on the community mailing and distribution list for the Woodlands and Redondo Creek project? From neighborhood conversations, there are only a couple people near the impacted area receiving any correspondence and having to make copies for those of us in the immediate area on 20th Ave. S by the water tower. I have looked at the project links available online and may have missed it but my immediate neighbors on 20th Ave and myself would like to ask for a list of what systemic improvements are planned in the area. Here are some of our questions specifically. · Will there be a sidewalk installed on one side or the other of 20th Ave, 300th by the water tower or along 304th? This would make it safer for folks walking in general as well as those going to elementary school on that road a few blocks away. 304th particularly is a danger point as it is dimly lit and hard to see folks walking on the sides. · The impact on the low water pressure for the homes close to the water tower? Lakehaven said the closer you are, the lower the pressure. This many homes I expect would require the addition of a pump to increase pressure. · Turn the intersection at 20th and 298th into a 3-way stop or add speed bumps along 20th Ave. S. · Adjusting the light at 304th and Pacific Highway to a sensor as it backs up to the bottom of the hill and beyond so the folks needing access to that entry point to that community will be highly impacted by not being able to take a left onto that access road. Thank you for taking the time to look these questions over. Is there a venue that I can have my neighbors officially submit their questions or concerns? We are in support of the project to help eliminate the homelessness issue in that area but want to be sure it does not cause other issues.
