ORDINANCE NO. 90-80
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY,
WASHINGTON, RELATING TO BUDGETS AND FINANCE,
ADJUSTING THE EMPLOYEE POSITION AUTHORIZATION
FOR 1990, AND ADOPTING THE 1991 BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the tax estimates and budget for the City of Federal
Way, Washington for the year 1991 have been prepared and filed as
provided by the laws of the State of Washington; and
WHEREAS, the budget was printed for distribution and notice
published in the official paper of the City of Federal Way setting
the time and place for hearing on the budget and said notice
stating that all taxpayers calling at the Office of the City Clerk
would be furnished a copy of the budget; and
WHEREAS, public hearings have been held on the budget; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY,
WASHINGTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Budqet. That the budget for the year 1991 is
hereby adopted in the amounts and for the following purposes:

Section 2. The City Manager shall administer the Annual
Budget and in doing so may authorize adjustments to the extent that
they are consistent with the budget approved herein.
section 3. The number of regular full-time positions for the
1990 budget year is increased to fifty (50).
section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.
