I.
CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Mayor McColgan called the special meeting of the Federal Way City Council to order at the hour of
7:00 p.m., for the purpose of holding an executive session; he immediately recessed the special
meeting until the Land Use/Transportation Committee adjourned their regular meeting in progress.
Councilmembers present: Mayor Dean McColgan, Deputy Mayor Linda Kochmar, and
Councilmembers Jeanne Burbidge, Jack Dovey, Eric Faison, Jim Ferrell and Mike Park.
City staff present: City Manager David Moseley, City Attorney Pat Richardson and City Clerk
Chris Green.
Mayor McColgan reopened the special meeting at 7: 17 p.m.
II.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Executive Session/Potential Litigation/Pursuant to RCW 42.30. 110(1)(i)
At 7: 18 p. m., City Manager Moseley requested an executive session for purposes of discussing
potential litigation-expected duration is one hour.
At 8: 10 p. m., Assistant City Manager Derek Matheson announced the executive session has been
extended until 9:00 p.m.
Council returned to chambers at 8:40 p.m.
III.
ADJOURNMENT
No action was taken following the executive session; Mayor McColgan adjourned the special meeting
of the Federal Way City Council at the h r of 8:40 p.m.
