Background
During demolition, Woodland Industries General
Contracting, Inc found a dry -pack mortar setting
bed under the tile.
As -built documents showed that a concrete
topping slab should have been under the tile.
The dry -pack mortar setting bed has caused issues
such as water saturation and rotting of the gypsum
wallboard.

• Complete removal of the the finish and dry -pack mortar setting
bed will be necessary as the current condition does not allow for
new flooring to be put over the top.
• As proposed, this change order of $43,529.00 will be funded by
ARPA funding under the existing FWCC Locker Room budget and
no additional funds are being requested.
