1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Mayor Park called the meeting to order at 6:05 PM. Councilmembers Burbidge, Dovey,
Faison, Kochmar, McColgan, Deputy Mayor Ferrell and Mayor Park present.
II. PUBLIC COMMENT - (3-minute limit)
There was no public comment.
III. 2007-2008 BIENNIAL BUDGET
Department Presentations (Order Revised)
· Parks & Recreation Department - Director Donna Hansen presented the
Parks and Recreation Department Budget reviewing key projects completed
in 200512006 and anticipated projects for 2007/2008.
· Public Safety - Interim Police Chief Brian Wilson presented the Public
. Safety Department Budget reviewing department achievements and future
initiatives. Mr. Wilson also reviewed 2007/2008 Budget requests, and
highlighted the additions in service should Proposition 1 pass.
· Law - City Attorney Pat Richardson presented the Law Divisions proposed
budget reviewing near-term challenges, cost reductions and service
enhancements should Proposition 1 pass.
· Municipal Court - Judge Morgan presented the Municipal Court budget
reviewing 2005/2006 key projects; 200712008 anticipated projects and the
proposed budget and proposed service enhancements should Proposition 1
pass.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Park adjourned the meeting at 9:30 PM.
