Committee approved June 15, 2009 LUTC minutes as presented.

B. Sherwood Forest School Zone Flasher Grant Acceptance
There was no public comment. Rick Perez presented information on this item. The
amount of the grant is approximately $7,500 (half of the cost of the project). The balance
of the project cost will be taken from the Traffic Division Operation Fund.
Committee forwarded Option #1 as presented.

C. BPA Trail at SW 356th Street Project Acceptance
There was no public comment. Rick Perez presented information on this item. This
pedestrian signalized crosswalk features pedestrian activated flashers with a unique
flashing pattern showing improved driver compliance so far. Staff anticipates this new type
of flasher will be successful. The project was completed under budget.
