A GeoResources representative arrived on site at the request of Mr. Jeff S. with JK Monarch to

observe the excavation for the foundation elements at the site.
We observed 2 — 4 inch quarry spalls at the location shown on page 2. The subgrade soils
appeared to be tan/light brown silty SAND with gravel. The quarry spalls appeared compacted.
We tested the quarry spalls at random locations with a'rz-inch steel T -probe and observed less

than 2 inches of penetration, indicating a dense condition.
Capacity
Based on our observations it is our opinion that the subgrade observed today is suitable to
support 1,500 psf in bearing in its current condition. Should the subgrade become saturated or
disturbed prior to the pour the disturbed soil should be removed and replaced per the project
plans. A picture of the site during our visit is included on page 2.
LIMITATIONS- This report is considered preliminary and subject to change upon review by our project manager. The information
contained herein is provided solely for our client and should not be transrnilted to a third party without the full written permission of
GeoResources. LLC. This report presents opinion formed as a result of our observations of activities relating to engineering geology
and geotechnical engineering. The GeoResources, LLC Geld representative is present on site solely to observe the held activities of
the contractor identified and keep our client informed of the progress and quality of the work. The contractor is solely responsible for
its means, methods, sequences, construction site safety, quality of work. and adherence to the contract documents. We rely on the
contractor to comply with the plans and specifications throughout the duration of this project irrespective of the presence of our
representative. Our work does not include supervision or direction of the actual work of the contractor. his employees or agents. Our
firm wail not be responsible for job or site safety. GeoResources. LLC is not a licensed surveyor and is not responsible for line and
for grade.
