On behalf of Prospect Development, ESM Consulting Engineers, LLC is providing the following
memo as part of our safe school walking route analysis for the proposed Twin Trails
Subdivision.
The Twin Trails project is located at 1605 SW 341st Pl, in Federal Way, King County. The
school district serving this project site is Federal Way School District. To determine the
applicable schools and walking routes for students that would potentially reside within the
project site, we utilized the Federal Way School District’s School Boundary Maps. The project
parcels are located in different school assignments.

The school district was contacted on different occasions but did not respond to our request for
input on walking routes to school. The proposed bus or walking routes shown on the attached
exhibits have a sidewalk and separation between vehicular traffic. Therefore, all the proposed
routes are safe for students to walk on.
