CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Acting Chair, Deputy Mayor McColgan called the special meeting of the Federal Way
City Council to order at the hour of 5:35 p.m.
Councilmembers present: Deputy Mayor Dean McColgan and Councilmembers, Linda
Kochmar, Mike Park and Eric Faison.
Deputy Mayor McColgan excused the absences of Mayor Jeanne Burbidge and
Council members Mary Gates and Michael Hellickson.
Staff present: City Manager David Moseley, City Attorney Bob Sterbank and City Clerk
Chris Green.

BRANDING PROCESS
Branding Survey Results & Direction
City Manager Moseley introduced the Leonhardt:Fitch group representative who
presented the consultant's recent survey findings and proposed positioning direction.
Following a question and answer period, Council members made the unanimous decision
to forward to full Council at the next regular meeting on April 2, 2002; enabling those
Council members absent at tonight's meeting to fully review and discuss the branding
survey results prior to implementing the positioning direction process.
