This project involves repairs to the foundation of the existing residence. The repairs will include
installation of at least 18 helical anchors with steel connections and channel. Anchors are
anticipated to be driven to refusal below foundation elements. No fill or excavation is proposed.
PROPOSAL:
A Zone AE flood zone exists on the property with a Base Flood Elevation of 14 feet and a Flood
Hazard Areas permit is required pursuant to chapter 18.16 RCW, chapter 173-158 WAC, and
chapter 16.15 DMMC. Additionally, a shoreline exemption application will be reviewed by the City.
