Specifically, the changes will add review and approval processes as well as design and aesthetic standards for the roll out of small wireless facilities. The City Council is anticipated to take action on the amendments in spring 2021. Proposal Location: Algona City Limits Applicant: City of Algona Jimmy Griess, Public Works Director (253) 833-2741 iimmyg@algonwa.gov SEPA Decision: The City of Algona has determined that this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 43.21C.030(2)(c). This determination was made by the City of Algona as a basis for the exercise of substantive authority under RCW 43.21C.060. This determination is based on an Environmental Checklist and other information available upon request from the Agency Contact at the address and email listed above. Comments and Appeals: This DNS is issued under Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 197- 11-340(2) & WAC 197-11-350. The lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days. Please email comments to: lirnmygealgonwa.gov, or mail to: City of Algona, 200 Washington Blvd, Algona, WA, 98001, attn: Jimmy Griess. The comment period will end at 4:OOPM on March 22, 2021. The Responsible Official will then modify, finalize, or withdraw this DNS by March 29, 2021. The DNS is administratively appealable pursuant to Algona Municipal Code (AMC) 16.04.170(A)(1)(a). Any appeal must be filed in writing with the City's Board of Adjustment within 14 days of the date the MDNS becomes final. A fee of $1,000 shall be paid at the time of filing. Applicant shall be responsible for any direct costs over and above the filing fee, pursuant to AMC 2.50.020(I). Disclaimer: This determination is for the non -project municipal code amendments only.
