Comment Topic: vote to save the Steel Lake Park Annex
Written Comment:
I am writing to the Federal Way City Council requesting that you vote to save STEEL LAKE
PARK ANNEX. This park is one of the few gems that Federal Way has with everything
from a lake to a skate park. Destroying the park annex to build a new maintenance
facility is short-sighted and will forever diminish the crown jewel of the city. The annex
has endless future possibilities if retained as public parks property. Please vote to expand
site one which is north of the existing maintenance facility and save the Steel Lake Park
Annex.
