I am Susan Strong and have lived in Federal Way for 47 years. The Federal Way Skate
Park has been around since my son was young. He is a young man now and still enjoys
skating at that park. He and his friends meet over there where they can and get in some
good wholesome exercise. This park is mentioned in
northwestskater.com/federalway.html as a skating park located in Federal Way. This web
site has some great photos of our skatepark. There is also another web site that offers
skateboard lessons at our park. And of course we have a shop in Federal Way called 35th
Ave Skateboard where they sell skateboards and all the parts to keep your board in
shape. This shop is the only one of its kind in the area. The young people in Federal Way
deserve to have a skatepark. If this one needs to be torn down then a replacement needs
to be built and operational before the current park is closed.
