SUBJECT: MITCHELL- VEEDER - DEYNAKA REZONE - (09-103287-00-UP)
Applicant request for a temporary delay for legal preparation
The City Clerk has scheduled a special City Council meeting on October 5, 2010 in order for the City
Council to review the Hearing Examiner's recommendation on the Mitchell-Veeder-Deynaka rezone
request. That request is to change the zoning of four lots from RS 9.6 to RS 7.2.
Attached please find a letter, submitted on September 9, 2010, requesting a temporary delay to the
City Council review of the Hearing Examiner's recommendation of the rezone request. All three
applicants have signed and dated this letter. The letter notes that an additional 60-days time is
needed for legal preparation.
Based on this extension request, the October 5, 2010 special City Council meeting should be
rescheduled. I will work with Clerk McNeilly to identify a new special City Council meeting date.

attorney, William Lynn to represent us. Mr. Lynn will need 60 days to research the
