The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse
impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW
43.2 1 C. 03 0(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist,
Federal Way Comprehensive Plan, final staff evaluation for this action, and other municipal policies,
plans, rules, and regulations designated as a basis for exercise of substantive authority under the
Washington State Em4onmental Policy Act Rules pursuant to RCW 43.31C.060. This information is
available to the public on request.
This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2). The lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14
days from the date below. Comments must be submitted by August 9, 2010. You may appeal this
determination to Greg Fewins, Director of Community Development Services, at the City of Federal
Way (33325 8`h Avenue South, PO Box 9718, Federal Way, WA 98063-9718) no later than 5:00 p.m.
on August 23, 2010. The appeal must be in the form of a written letter stating the reason for the
appeal of the determination. The appeal letter must make specific factual objections.
