LEARNINGS FROM COVID
Better Permanent Housing Outcomes
when we moved to 24/7 facility —based
enhanced shelter
Clients have better access to services
without the need to travel between
programs all day to meet their survival
needs
Housing plans are more easily facilitated
for each resident
Greater ability to provide behavior health
services at facility
24/7 shelters lead to better health
outcomes than congregate shelters
Individual Motel rooms provide better
health for clients
Clients have better access to nursing and
health services
Lack of virtual connection for many of
our clients reinforced the face to face
person centered approach of our work.
