also a resident of the city. I'm writing today in support of the Townhome development that
Intracorp is proposing on the site of the old Bally's off of 1st. Residents of my community are
hard pressed to move "up" to newer apartments because there just aren't many within the city.
Many of these folks want to stay in the city because of its location, or because of their work, or
the fact that their kids are in school and they don't want to disrupt them. This kind of community
is different than many of the older and more established ones here in FW. The pictures I've
seen are of condo quality townhomes with garages and nice landscaping. This is the kind of
housing that is appealing to these folks, and would keep them in Federal Way as they are
looking to eventually buy a house. Please allow a rezone of the property so that Intracorp can
invest into this project.
