To whom it may concern,
I am writing to urge you to pass the rezone request for the property at 32818 First Avenue S.
I've seen a presentation about the proposed townhome community that will go on that site, and
am very happy that the unused and deteriorating building that's currently on that lot (The old
Bally's) will be torn down, and new.... Market Rate construction will take place. While there has
been quite a number of lower quality, and subsidized apartment communities built in the city
over the last few years — from what I seem this will be a different type of development. One that
families, as well as retirees and young professionals alike can all see themselves either renting
or buying. The increase in property taxes would be a welcome positive for the city, and the
overall appearance of that corner will be really improved. Please vote yes so that project can go
