Policy Question
Should City Council approve the proposal for ARPA Social Services and Business Supports as
presented?
ARPA Allocation for Social Services and Business Supports
• In October 2022, City Council approved $3,750,000 for social services and business supports
This included $3,000,000 requested for social services and $750,000 for business supports
• The proposed plan retains this division of funds and recommends deferring economic
development until the new Economic Development Director is on board
• This plan is specifically for the social services funding
