Hello, On Wednesday, October 12, 2022, Ecology Wetland Specialist Neil Molstad met at the site referenced in the subject line of this email with Natalie Kamieniecki (City of Federal Way), Evan Mann (SoundBuilt Homes), and Curtis Wambach (EnviroVector). The purpose of this site visit was to resolve conflicting information regarding the presence of regulated wetlands on the property. During the site visit the entire property was visually inspected. Soil profiles in three locations were informally examined for the presence of hydric soil field indicators, and none were found. Since no portion of the property was found to meet all three wetland criteria (vegetation, hydrology, and soils) during the October 12 site visit, Ecology concurs with the conclusion reached in EnviroVector’s September 21, 2021 304th Street Property Critical Areas Report that no regulated wetlands or other waters of the state are present at this site. Please feel free to call or email me with any questions regarding the above. Sincerely, Neil Molstad Neil Molstad, PWS (he/him) Wetland Specialist – Northwest Regional Office Shorelands and Environmental Assistance Program Washington State Department of Ecology Cell 425.389.5549 | neil.molstad@ECY.WA.GOV This communication is a public record and may be subject to disclosure per RCW 42.56.
