RE:
Recommended Changes to 1995-2010 TIP
The Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) was presented to the Land Use/Transportation
Committee on October 3, 1994, for recommendation to the City Council for approval.
The following were recommended by the committee for City Council consideration:
1.
Diagonal Parkway
It was recommended that this project should either be ranked lower in the capital
project list or be included as part of the Regional CIP priorities project list.
2.
S. W. Camous Drive (1st A venue S. to SPA)
It was recommended that this project be given 8 higher priority.
3.
S. 30Bth St. Connection - 8th A venue S. to 5th Place S.
It was recommended that a lower priority be given to this project.
.
It was also recommended that removal of the numerical ranking of the Regional CIP Priority
Project occur.
.
In addition, a cost breakdown for S.W. 336th St. project (21st Ave. S.W. to 36th Ave
S.W.) was requested.
The project description outlined in the 1994 TIP did not include any bike lanes in the project,
where the 1995 TIP considers bike lane improvements as part'of the widening.
