Options Considered
1. Award the Former Target Building Demolition to
the lowest responsive, responsible bidder;
Swofford Excavating, LLC in the amount of
$373,789.50 together with a 15% contingency of
$56,068.43 for a total amount of $429,857.93,
and authorize the Mayor to execute the contract.
2. Reject all bids and direct staff to rebid the project
and return to the Committee for further action.
Recommendation
The Mayor recommends Option 1.
