Dear Eric Maise:
City staff has conducted review of your April 13, 2021, submittal of documents as part of a Process I Master
Land Use (MLU) application for the expansion of an existing remediation system, including installation of a
concrete pad and cargo container at the above-mentioned address. City staff has provided the following
comments that will need to be addressed prior to approval of your application, or as otherwise noted.
1. Update the site plan to clearly identify the modified storage container and new screening.
2. Note that fences and railings not over six feet in height may be located in required yards and that any
improvement or structure that is not more than 18 inches above finished grade may extend not more
than five feet into a required yard per FWRC 19.125.160.
3. Update the site plan to show any structures in the required yard setback.
4. Submit elevation drawings and design intent of the proposal as indicated on the submittal requirements
for a Use Process I application:
a. Statement of architectural design intent, finish materials, and colors.
b. Front, rear, and side (labeled as north, south, east, and west) building elevations of
proposed structures.
c. Exterior wall openings.
d. Exterior materials and colors board.
e. Roof-top and ground based mechanical equipment screen details.
f. Building height calculation.

APPLICATION STATUS
The review period for the Use Process I will begin again within 14 days of a complete resubmittal of items
requested/corrected. Please make the corrections and resubmit the requested materials with a completed
“Resubmittal Information Form” (enclosed), and a letter indicating how the above comments have been
addressed. All resubmittals are submitted through the permit portal at
https://www.cityoffederalway.com/node/4588.
Pursuant to FWRC 19.15.050, if an applicant fails to provide additional information to the city within 180
days of being notified that such information is requested, the application shall be deemed void.

Please note, that as a result of redesigning and/or revising the preliminary plans, other city and agency
comments and conditions may result in a request for additional or revised information.
