Good morning Pedro:
I read through the attached lease agreement, primarily looking at the following 2 paragraphs:
Given the City’s requirement that land owner must either sign permit applications or provide clear agent
authority, I am not comfortable that these paragraphs are clear to a third party (the City) the scope of
the authorization.
If it is possible for you to get (at a minimum) an email from an authorized representative of the land
owner, identifying they are an authorized owner’s representative and authorizing you to proceed with
permits for the property, that would be ok for the city.

Hi Keith,
I was referred to you by Christina Dunlap. Our land use application is being held up due to a
lack of a signature on our land use application by the property owner. We do have a Lease
Agreement (attached) which authorizes my client, Northwest Restaurants, to pursue permits for
the Taco Bell. Christina said that she would need your approval to allow this lease agreement
to suffice for property Owner approval
If the lease agreement is not enough, the do you have a standard form for Owner authorization
or is an email ok?

Hello Pedro,
We are unable to accept your submittal package because the Master Use Application does not either
contain a signature for the owner or a letter of Authorization from the owner. Please provide one of the
two and resubmit.
Thank You,
