CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
City Hall — Council Chambers
April 4, 2023 — 5:00 p.m.
1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Deputy Mayor Honda called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m.
City officials in attendance: Council President Linda Kochmar, Deputy Mayor Susan Honda,
Councilmember Lydia Assefa-Dawson, Councilmember Hoang Tran, Councilmember Jack
Walsh, and Councilmember Jack Dovey.
Councilmember Erica Norton did not attend the special meeting.
City staff in attendance: City Attorney Ryan Call and City Clerk Stephanie Courtney.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Deputy Mayor Honda led the flag salute.
3. COMMISSION INTERVIEWS
The Council interviewed five applicants for the Parks and Recreation Commission, one
applicant for the Youth Commission, and one applicant for the Planning Commission.
4. ADJOURNMENT
There being nothing further on the agenda; the special meeting was adjourned at 5:57 p.m.
