PLEASE READ:
In accordance with State Law, the City of Federal Way prohibits any testimony regarding any campaign for election or
promotion of, or opposition to, any ballot proposition during the citizen comment portion of the meeting. Additionally,
Council Rules prohibit any personal, impertinent, threatening or slanderous remarks during public comment. Any
person engaging in these topics will be interrupted.
In accordance with the Council Rules of Procedure, comments are limited to 3-minutes per person. A person speaking
on behalf of a group of more than five individuals in attendance or with written proof that they have been designated
as a Spokesperson may speak for 5 minutes — provided the Administrative Assistant II has been notified prior to the
beginning of the meeting. The Chair may interrupt comments that continue too long, relate negatively to other -
individuals, or are otherwise inappropriate. No speaker may convey or donate their time for speaking to another
speaker. The Chair has the authority to preserve order at all meetings of the Committee, and to cause the removal of
any person from any meeting for disorderly conduct.
