Dear James & Mimi Lee:
Enclosed please find the consultant task authorization and scope of work for review of the critical areas
report. The department’s wetland consultant, ESA, was asked to provide an estimate for their review of
information prepared by John Comis Associates, LLC.
The normal course of action is for the city to set up an account to be funded by the applicant and drawn
down by the work performed by ESA. Please note that if any of the funds are not used, they will be returned
to the applicant. To begin this process, provide the following items to the Permit Center through the
electronic submittal process: the enclosed invoice, payment in the amount of $5,117.00, a signature on the
enclosed consultant authorization form, and the enclosed Resubmittal Form. Following receipt of all
requested items the city will authorize ESA to begin their formal review.
Please note—this fee covers a specific scope-of-work. Additional assistance or meetings beyond that identified
in the scope of work will require a supplemental cost and authorization.
The Department of Community Development is implementing safety protocols and modifying our services.
As a result, our doors will remain closed for in-person business. Staff will be able to serve customers
