Remote Parking & Shuttle Services
We currently have an alternative parking agreement with the Federal Way Church of Christ at
30012 Military Rd S, which is a few blocks north from our church property (see indemnity
agreement).
We will be using the north parking area of the church which has been reserved for our use per
agreement. This remote parking will be mainly utilized by our church admin, staff, and
leadership team. We will be requiring all our church admin, staff, and leadership team as well
as our volunteers to utilize this parking to free up parking spots for guests and special needs
members. However, this will be open to anyone once the main parking lot is full.
The following is a short description of how these parking and shuttle services will be
implemented.
• A special pick-up tent will be set up at the remote parking as a waiting area for people
when the shuttle is in between picking up and dropping off members.
• A special section in front of the plaza will be sectioned off as a drop off and pick up zone
at the church site.
• 2 hours prior to the beginning of church services, an approved shuttle driver will begin
picking up and dropping off members from the remote parking and will continue at least
an hour after services have begun.
• 30 minutes prior to the close of church services, the shuttle will begin its services to the
remote parking and will continue until everyone has been dropped off.
• Shuttle drivers will be available for pick up and drop off anytime throughout the times of
services in case of emergencies. They will work together with our security and parking
lot volunteers.
These parking and shuttle services will only be required during main services as referenced
below or when needed for any special major events held at the church such as weddings,
funerals and other celebrations.
