Gerwen, Parks & Facilities Manager Subject: Tree removal request I am requesting to remove two large alder trees on City property adjacent to the Cerna residence; located at 32416 2nd Ave SW. The largest Alder has significant phototrophic lean and has the Cerna, house and deck as a target. The second alder is leaning away from the house but has some included bark and has the potential of failing. Due to the large size and potential target I am recommending removal of these alder tree. The Cerna family has agreed to replant and water two (2) new weeping Alaskan cedars until established. Please see attached pictures for reference.
