The city is in receipt of your request to remove Himalayan blackberries (Rubits CIrMeniacits) on a vacant
lot zoned RS 15.0 (1 unit/] 5,000 square feet). You propose to remove all nuisance vegetation on the area
abutting 6"' Avenue SW. Application inaterials received July 18, 2017, indicate the site is relatively flat
on the western half of the parcel, although the eastern half is a geologically hazardous area on the city�s
critical area inventory.
Pursuant to Federal Way Revised Code (FWRC) 19. 145.120 (7), the proposed vegetation maintenance on
the above -mentioned parcel is hereby approved by the Community Development Department with the
following condition.
0 This decision does not include clearing, grading, tree removal or 'development' per FWRC
