We have worked together before in regards to my business Express Towing LLC. Currently the business
is attempting to relocate to a more suitable location for our activities which include primarily the
impound and storage of motor vehicles at the direction of law enforcement. We have located a suitable
facility within the CE zoning area in the City of Federal Way. The address of the proposed site is 35000
Pacific Hwy S Federal Way, WA 98023 (see attached map). The proposed storage location shall be at the
South West region of the property adjacent to the rear gate opening on to a shared driveway. The
current use of the property and surrounding properties is that of heavy equipment storage and sales,
vehicle storage and transport, trucking and construction. The area of the property directly West of the
proposed storage facility is currently occupied by a large scale vehicle storage and transport company
which at times houses over 100 vehicles.
The anticipated storage needs for our facility would not include more than a dozen vehicles stored at a
time and would not cause any impact on the current traffic of the area. Due to the current use of the
property I do not believe our proposed use would pose any change of use, environmental impact or
traffic impact. In fact, due to the nature of our business I believe we would have a positive impact on the
congestion in the area, we are a contractor for the Federal Way Police Department and this location
would allow us to swiftly respond and clear the roadway of any disabled vehicles as directed.
