The city is in receipt of your December 4, 2015, request to clarify Federal Way Revised Code (FWRC)
19.05.030 "Commercial recreation facility" for a Hidden City -Family Fun Center. Particularly, the
request seeks to clarify if outdoor activities are an allowed use in addition to indoor activities. FWRC
19.05.030 reads:

uses. The use ofsuch an area may be limited to private membership or may be open to the publi

The 'Commercial recreation facility' definition specifically states that it applies to indoor uses, becausc
the definition is so specific we do not interpret it to allow outdoor uses.
