The City of Federal Way's Community Development department is in receipt of your application f]
a change of use analysis from an office to a tutoring center. A review of the submitted materials
identifies the following items were to be reviewed in order to issue a department response to the
change of use zoning compliance.
Parking Spot Requirements
The use of the proposed building will be a "Day Care". Per Federal Way Revised Code (FWRQ
19.230.090, for every 300 feet of building area for day care facilities, one parking spot will be
provided. As provided on the site plans, the applicant has enough parking spaces to meet this
requirement. .
Site Improvements
As the building which the applicant is wishing to occupy hasn't been legally occupied for over a
year, per FWRC 19.105. 100, the applicant shall repair and/or restore existing improvements on the
site to a condition as near as physically possible to the condition required under the approval of the
existing development. The site is subject to inspection prior to the issuing of certificate of occupancy.
Landscaping of any overgrown brush, removal of any invasive species, and the disposal of any trash
on site will need to be carried out as site improvements. Repainting of the parking spots might also
be required depending on the parking lot's current condition.
Conclusion
The proposed zoning change of use for this developed site is hereby approved. This letter is not

including, but not limited to, building permit review. Also, you will need to obtain a city business
license through the City Clerk's Office before occupying the building. If you have any questions

Daily practice will include the importance of being intentional creators, how to process words, the
daily mind training through meditation and yoga. They will learn about themselves and will have the
opportunity to go in-depth with self-discovery. The program is designed to provide participants the
opportunities to be active in their community through becoming a philanthropist. Our core belief is
ensuring each participant can experience education to benefit the collective.
This program places its families in the role of being the experts of knowing what their child needs. We
are all partners inthis learning exchange. Weare acollective working towards the betterment of
hunmanity. That means each family member will play asignificant role inthe exchange; this isequally ao

children and families. The programs targeted population are children who are preparing toenter
Kindergarten with the approach of them entering the school setting being strong on all levels. The group
sessions will run for the duration of 3 to 3.5 hours and we will be offering 2 group'sessions one a.m. and
one afternoon session. Our daily times of operation will be 9-5 with the late afternoon hours being
designated for private tutoring services.
