RE: Permit #04-102068-000-00-UP; EVERGREEN COURT APARTMENTS
1911 South 330`h Street, Federal Way, WA
Dear Mr. Doyle:
The City has completed a Process I review of the proposal submitted on May 24, 2004, regarding site
improvements at the Evergreen Court Apartments. Specifically, you are proposing to install two new
windows in the east fagade of an existing office building as well as internal improvements.
The proposed project meets the requirements of "community design guidelines," in that the new windows
are consistent with the existing structure and do not alter the existing architectural design of the building.
Therefore, based on the City's review, the proposed improvements are administratively approved. This
decision shall not waive compliance with future City of Federal Way codes, policies, and standards
relating to this project site. A building permit is required for this project.
The effective date of the decision is May 31, 2004. Pursuant to Federal Way City Code (FWCC) Section
22-355, any person who received notice of the administrative decision may appeal the decision to the
Federal Way Hearing Examiner by June 14, 2004. In that you are the only party of record to this proposal,
you may waive your right to appeal. The City must receive this waiver'in writing. If you choose to waive
your right to appeal, you could begin work on the project as soon as the waiver request is received and the
building permit is issued.
The total hourly Process I fee for this project is $58.50. This amount is subtracted from the $58.50
application fee paid at the time of project submittal and covers this review cost. There is no additional
land use review due at this time. If you have any questions, please call Isaac Conlen, Associate Planner,
at 253-661-4082.
Sincerely,
AM" 6- &-,-
