City of Federal Way KA P.M.: WBT WEATHER: Cloud TEMP: 45' F Krazan & Associates (KA) field representative arrived on site as requested for the periodic inspection of epoxy reinforcing steel dowels, as well as reinforcing steel mats at the various cut-out locations for foundation footings shown on sheet no. S2.1 of the plans. Upon arrival on site, KA representative met with the contractor and went over the approved project plans and details. Epoxy Anchor Inspection The KA representative observed the placement of #4 reinforcing steel dowels installed into properly drilled and cleaned holes that met or exceeded the minimum required embedment of 4" at various foundation footings locations. Simpson SET-3G epoxy was used, ID 1000310386, epoxy was used, expiration 11/01/24, and was expended to demonstrate it was thoroughly mixed. The installation of the epoxy anchors was done in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and conformed with the provided plans.
