ARPA Grant Applications for Youth Programming
■Application period opened April 3, 2023 and closed May 31, 2023
■Received 12 complete applications for Youth Programming
■Total request of: $4,942,202.90
■Each Commissioner read and evaluated all applications
■The Human Services Commission had recommended use of the funds for financial literacy for
youth programming as no applications were received for financial literacy.
■Parks, Recreation, Human Services, and Public Safety Committee amended the recommendation
to retain the funds for financial literacy.
■This amendment allows for reopening of the financial literacy grant application.
■The amendment retained the 8 programs recommended by the Human Services
Commission for funding, reducing each from $150,000 to $125,000.
