This application packet is designed to obtain all the information necessary to allow the City of
Federal Way to make a well-informed decision on your application. please refer to the
application checklist to determine the materials which must be submitted to complete your
application. All anplic?,tion m erials axe pu inf iatio .
Your application will be evaluated oil the basis of the information you provide, the criteria listed
in the pertinent sections of the city regulatory ordinances and inspection of the property.
Boundary line adjustments shall meet the following criteria to be considered for approval by the
director:
A. Such alteration dms not increase the number of lots; or diminish in size open pace or
other protected environments.
B. Such alteration does not diminish the size of any lot so as to result in a lot of less square
footage than prescribed in the Toning ordinancE.
C. Such alteration does not result in the reduction of setbacks or site coverage to less than
prescribed by the zoning ordinance.
D. All lots resulting from the boundary line alteration are in conformance with the design
standards of Title lb, Subdivision Ordinance.
Attached is a list of materials which must be submitted with your application. Consult with the
Department of .Community 17evelopment if you have a question. Please do not turn in your
application until all.ite.ms which apply to your proposal have been checked off.
