Subject: Belmore Park Entry Gate
Hi Deb,
I have reviewed the submitted Belmore Park entry gate inquiry and has the following comments:
1) The access and queuing analysis/report should be stamped by a professional engineer licensed in WA.
2) Visitor and residential lane should be clearly delineated to reduce confusion. Paving marking and/or other
alternatives should be used to help direct in -coming traffic.
3) There is an existing crosswalk sign at the southwest corner of the intersection, verify that this will be blocked by
waiting vehicles.
4) Coordinate with Fire Dept. on the proposed Opticom for emergency vehicle access.

Hi Deb,
Attached is the current Gate and Entry Plan, as well as the Draft Access and Queuing Letter for your review. The letter is
a Draft because he is waiting on confirmation from Belmor on the hours of operation. It should be as listed in the letter but
needs to be confirmed.
Let me know if you need anything further. Thank you

Subject: Gate at Belmor
Hi Jeremy - Kevin Peterson forwarded me your inquiry on a security gate at the Belmor Mobile Home Park.
Before you submit for a building permit, please e-mail me a scaled site plan, showing the proposed location of the
gate, South 324th Street, and the internal roadway. I will route this information to our Development Review
Committee, and get comments from the Fire Department, the Traffic department, and the Building department on
the gate. Please include details about the gate such as hours of operation, queuing length provided and what the
gate will look like_ Are you also working on the tennis court/parking revision for Belmor?
I can be reached at 253-835-2642 if you have any questions about this e-mail.

Subject: Gate Submittal Requirements
Hi Kevin,
I'm not sure if you remember me or not. I used to work for Sound Engineering Inc but now I'm working for Contour
Engineering LLC in Gig Harbor. I'm working on a gate and access plan for the Belmor Golf and Country Club off of
South 324th Street_
I'm thinking the construction permit application is what would be needed for an access gate submittal_ Is that
correct? What would also be the fees associated with the application?
I also need to get the plan in front of the fire marshal. Is that routed to the fire department with the construction
permit application, or is that something we need to send to the marshal separately?
Thank you. I appreciate any assistance you can provide_
