(Bob — standard City contract has indemnity @ $2M —the change to $1M needs to show up as a redline for Law review). thx Keith Niven, AICP, CEcD Community Development Director ACity of Federal Way (253) 835-2612 From: Bob Stowe <bob@stoweds.com> Sent: Friday, August 4, 2023 9:36 AM To: Keith Niven <Keith.Niven@cityoffedera lway.com> Cc: Samantha Homan <Samantha.Homan@cityoffederalway.com> Subject: RE: Agreement Signature [EXTERNAL EMAIL WARNING] This email originated from outside of the City of Federal Way and may not be trustworthy. I was attempting to reflect the actual travel time when needed for meetings at 1/2 of actual time which would be likely no more than 1.5 hours total. All of which would be governed by the total amount. If we use $2,000, that will be about 4 in -person meetings and was trying to provide some flexibility and clarity. I don't expect any other reimbursable expenses. I reworked the scope a bit. Not sure I want you part of the DA conversations. I also reduced the overall budget to a cap of $25k, mostly because I don't really have a budget for this work. We can monitor expenses and talk about an adjustment if there remains work to do. If you are ok w/ the contract, please sign and return to Samantha. If you want to talk budget or work, let's find time to do that.
