RE: FILE #15-102739-00-AD; RESPONSE TO INQUIRY
Botch Critical Areas Verification, Parcels 713780-0160 and 713780-0165
Dear Mr. Chepurin:
The Department of Community Development has received your inquiry regarding the above -referenced
contiguous single-family residential properties and any city -known limitations with installing a septic
system. The City's Critical Areas inventory shows no known critical areas on or within 200 feet of the
subject property. No other limitations for septic are known at this time.
Be advised the Department of Health — Seattle & King County is the jurisdictional authority for on -site
sewage disposal systems. The department's Building Division will not issue building permits until a King
County approved septic design is submitted to the City.
I trust this letter satisfies your inquiry. You may contact me at 253.83 5.263 8 or
rnatt.herrera ci a#federalwa .can if you need further clarification.

Subject: Lakehaven Sewer access for parcel's #7137800160 and #7137800165.
To whom it may concern,
The subject properties are within a low pressure portion of the Panther Lake South Gravity Sewer basin
per the 2009 Lakehaven Utility District Comp plan. A major portion of the Sewer System comp plan
would need to be completed through a Developer Extension agreement for the subject properties to
receive Sewer service. The required facilities would include approximately 1750 feet of low pressure
sewer main.
Lakehaven has a long-standing policy of not requiring sewer service for any existing parcel, except under
terms of special agreement, instead only providing service to property when requested by the owner.
For the subject properties, Lakehaven has no previous special agreement(s) with the property and
therefore does not object to King County's Department of Health issuing permits for onsite sewage
systems for existing parcels.
Please do not hesitate to contact me, if you have any questions. I may be reached by phone at
(253) 945-1620, by electronic mail at bnelson@Lakehaven.org, or by fax at (253) 529-4081.
Sincerely,
