CONDITIONS:
FIRE APPROVAL CONDITIONS:
1. Demolition and construction shall conform to the requirements of International Fire Code (IFC)
Chapter 33.
2. Before you start work, schedule a Pre -Construction meeting with the Deputy Fire Marshal by calling
253-946-7318.
3. Automatic fire sprinkler(s) shall be installed under the exterior projection exceeding 4 ft. in width,
unless the requirements of NFPA 13 - 8.15.7.2 thru 8.15.7.4 are met.
4: Separate permits and approvals are required for review or inspection of new fire protection or
detection systems, or existing systems where any additions, alterations, or revisions are made. Obtain
permits through the City of Federal Way.
5. Call 253-946-7318 to schedule your inspections. Please schedule your inspection at least 2 business
days in advance. The fire marshal's office will call you back and set up an agreed upon time. Preferred
inspection days are Tuesday through Thursday with limited inspection availability on Monday's and
Fridays.

The Krazan representative arrived onsite to perform roof sheeting nailing and blocking. The representative meet with the
contractor to discuss the scope of work.
Roof Nailing:
The area where the roof sheathing nailing inspection was performed on the canopy roof and for the blocking with connections
bellow the roof. The diaphragm sheeting is exposure class-1, the rating of the sheeting is 32/16, and the thickness is 15/32"
which follows onsite specifications and onsite plans. The roof nailing inspected follow boundary, edge, and field spacing per
plan and nails follow the nail type stated in the onsite plans, specifications. The blocking connections observed follow type,
spacing and nailing per onsite plans.
