➢Supports City"s compliance with WA HB 1181
■ Sets new climate change planning requirements
➢Supports City's development of Hazard Mitigation
Plan (HMP) by 2025
➢FEMA-Approved HMP:
■ Helps meet HB 1181 resiliency requirements
■ Makes City eligible for federal hazard mitigation grants
➢Application deadline is October 31, 2023
