CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Mayor Ferrell called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
City officials in attendance: Mayor Jim Ferrell, Council President Linda Kochmar, Deputy
Mayor Susan Honda, Councilmember Lydia Assefa-Dawson, Councilmember Paul
McDaniel, Councilmember Hoang Tran, Councilmember Jack Walsh, and
Councilmember Jack Dovey.
City staff in attendance: City Administrator Brian Davis, City Attorney Ryan Call and City
Clerk Stephanie Courtney.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Ferrell led the flag salute.
3. STUDY SESSION
Sound Transit Liaison Kent Smith provided an overview of the Sound Transit Operations
and Maintenance Facility Draft EIS. He provided details of report which includes the
preferred alternative and the other two remaining sites (S 344'h St & Midway Landfill). Staff
review continues and technical comments will be submitted to Sound Transit by the
November deadline.
Council thanked Mr. Smith for the update and asked clarifying questions.
4. ADJOURNMENT
There being nothing further on the agenda; the special meeting was adjourned at 5:37
p. M.
