Background
The GFWCEMP was established in 2005
AG 05-131 Established an ILA between:
City of Federal Way
Federal Way Public Schools
South King Fire and Rescue (now South King Fire)
Lakehaven Water and Sewer District
St Francis Hospital (Now Virginia Mason Franciscan
Healthcare)
ILA expired in 2015
The GFWCEMP Planning and Oversight Committees
continue to operate today but needs a new ILA.

Issue:
An ILA forming the GFWCEMP is required to
establish our Comprehensive Emergency
Management Plan (CEMP)
The CEMP required by the Stafford Act to qualify
for Federal and State reimbursement in the event
of a Presidential Disaster Declaration
This ILA formally reestablishes the GFWCEMP
that continues to operate today.
