New bathroom fixtures will tie into existing 3" drain line (in west wall as shown) and

The new space will measure 54" wide (north -south) by 88" long (interior
dimensions) with a 30" x 54" shower stall on the west side of the new space. All
new walls will be standard 2x4 construction on 12" centers with standard 1/2" sheet
rock on the outside and mold -resistant 1/2" sheet rock on the inside, except for
shower stall which will be 1/2" cement board (for tile shower) on all surfaces,
including ceiling.
Sink drain will tie into toilet drain and then on to existing drain line, which will tee to
the new shower drain (shown as dotted lines). Floor drains will be pitched at least NORTH
1/4" down per foot of distance to existing drain line with p-trap at shower drain.
New drains will vent through sink vent in bathroom above.

The new bathroom will be accessed by a 28" standard door on the east Double doors to
wall that opens into the new space (as shown). There will be a new
pocket door installed in the south wall between the new bathroom wall and hallway
the existing east wall of the old bonus room, effectively breaking the old
space into three new spaces: an office to the north, bathroom in the
center, and bedroom/bonus room to the south (not completely shown in
this drawing; see existing layout drawing for complete space). Both new
doors are 80" tall.
