During construction a water line was discovered that is running right where we had shown the exterior wall line of the storage addition portion of the project. It is technically infeasible to have the footing over the waterline, and moving the waterline would be extremely expensive. So we are requesting that the footprint of the storage addition be increased slightly to miss the waterline This will actually be an improvement to the look off the addition because the east wall of the addition will now align with the existing wall, and the roofline will be simplified. We are not increasing the height of the building and we are still within the building setback requirement for the site. This request is only being made because the footprint of the storage addition will increase slightly from 600 SF to 709 SF. See attached revised elevations and site plan with the area in question clouded. Please feel free to call or email if you have any questions.
